We all know that electrolysis of water is a process
by which water – H2O is decomposed into oxygen O2 and hydrogen gas or H2. This
is done because of an electric current which gets passed through the water.
When we talk about electrolyzer we
are referring to a device that splits water into oxygen and hydrogen with
efficient and planned use of electrical energy.
When we take trouble to give electrical inputs from
renewable source, we can be sure that hydrogen does not leave behind any carbon

scale up. It offers one of the best sources of directly compressed hydrogen.
It also is possible to connect it to intermittent
power supply which again could be renewable. It is considered to be very
user-friendly and does not leave behind any dangerous caustic electrolyte.
